Overview

The RoundRobin action automatically distributes user assignments across a pool of users in a fair, rotational manner. It uses a pre-configured Round Robin Assignment Group to:

  • Select the next user from a defined user pool based on workload or rotation order
  • Assign the identified source record to the new target user
  • Optionally reassign any open tasks associated with the record to the new user
  • Handle out-of-office scenarios by skipping or using backup users

Common Use Cases

  • Claim Assignment: Automatically assign new claims to adjusters based on their current workload
  • Incident Distribution: Route safety incidents to safety managers in rotation
  • Work Order Assignment: Distribute work orders to technicians evenly
  • Lead Assignment: Assign incoming leads to sales representatives fairly
  • Case Management: Balance caseloads across case managers or social workers

To see which domains are eligible for RoundRobin in your system:

Navigate to: Admin → User Assignment Groups → New Round Robin Assignment

System will display a "Select Domain" page showing all eligible domains

Only domains meeting the criteria above will appear in the list
