Overview
The RoundRobin action automatically distributes user assignments across a pool of users in a fair, rotational manner. It uses a pre-configured Round Robin Assignment Group to:
- Select the next user from a defined user pool based on workload or rotation order
- Assign the identified source record to the new target user
- Optionally reassign any open tasks associated with the record to the new user
- Handle out-of-office scenarios by skipping or using backup users
Common Use Cases
- Claim Assignment: Automatically assign new claims to adjusters based on their current workload
- Incident Distribution: Route safety incidents to safety managers in rotation
